Belfast’s newest room, after dark. Music Room is the city’s first hi-fi listening bar — a bespoke handmade sound system, vinyl on the decks and a space designed around actually listening — newly opened on Church Street.

For one Wednesday night of the festival, we pour whiskey through it. Drams and records into the evening: the kind of night where the needle drops, the glass is refilled and the conversation finds its own tempo. No agenda, no lecture — just great whiskey, warm sound and Belfast atmosphere in a room the city is about to fall in love with.

Come for the whiskey. Stay for the sound.
