There's something fitting about a Dublin distillery crossing the sheugh to join Belfast Whiskey Week — and in July 2021, Teeling did exactly that in fine style. Session 84 was a full showcase tasting, putting six of Teeling's most expressive whiskeys in the hands of drinkers from Belfast to Brisbane, proof that the uisce beatha has a way of dissolving borders when it's poured generously enough.

When Teeling opened in the Liberties of Dublin in 2015, it carried the weight of over a century's absence on its shoulders — the first new whiskey distillery in the city since the Victorian era. That backstory gave Session 84 a particular warmth even before the first dram was poured.
